NSW Wrestling: Open Day 2024

We are thrilled to share the resounding success of the NSW Wrestling Open Day hosted at the esteemed Sydney Wrestling Academy (SWA). With over 50 enthusiastic youth members in attendance, the event proved to be a dynamic blend of education, skill-building, and community bonding.
🤼♂️ Expert Coaching Session:
Our state coaches, Tsuchika Shimoyamada and Justin Holland, led an engaging 2.5-hour session delving into wrestling techniques. Participants had the unique opportunity to gain insights directly from these seasoned professionals, honing their skills and understanding the nuances of the sport.
🗣️ Q&A Session with Coaches:
The session wasn't just about physical prowess; it also provided a platform for young wrestlers to interact with our esteemed coaches through a spirited Q&A session. This exchange of knowledge and experience added a personal touch to the learning experience.
📚 Freestyle Basic Competition Rules:
NSW referee Aryan Negahdari took the stage for a concise yet comprehensive overview of "Freestyle Basic Competition Rules." This informative session was followed by Q&A, ensuring that participants left with a thorough understanding of the rules governing the sport.
