NSW Future Champions Girls Wrestling Scholarship 2026

Applications are now open for the 2026 NSW Girls’ Wrestling Athlete Scholarship. One support package of $1,000 will be awarded to the successful applicant for use during the 2026 calendar year.
Eligibility:

Current financial member of NSW Wrestling in good standing.

Resident of NSW.
-
Active competitor in a Girls’ Wrestling division in 2025/2024

Aged 12–18 years old as of 31 December, 2026.
Assessment Process
Applications will be reviewed by the NSW Wrestling selection committee based on:

Competitive Merit: Recent tournament results and podium finishes.

Commitment: Consistent attendance and performance at previous NSW/National training camps.

Future Potential: A clear plan for how this scholarship will aid in your athletic development.
Scholarship Terms:
Recipients must commit to competing in at least three competitions (at state level, national, or international) in 2026. Funds may be used for: entry fees, Wrestling Australia/UWW memberships, travel/accommodation for events.
By submitting this application, the athlete/guardian is accepting NSW Wrestling's Members Code of Conduct.
Announcement:
- Applications close on Friday 20 March.
- The successful applicant will be notified via email by Tuesday 31 March. We apologise that due to the volume of applications, only the successful candidate will be contacted.
