NSW Wrestling Announces Elite U15 Team for 2025 Japan Tour

NSW Wrestling is thrilled to announce the talented young athletes selected to represent our state on the upcoming U15 Team Japan Tour in November 2025, happening on November 2 - November 16. This tour presents a phenomenal opportunity for our rising stars to immerse themselves in one of the world's most dominant wrestling cultures, training and competing alongside Japan's elite youth athletes.

The tour will commence with an intensive two-week training camp designed to prepare our athletes for elite international competition. At the end of the training camp, four members will represent NSW Wrestling at the prestigious Chiyoda Cup on November 15th, one of Japan's largest U15 youth tournaments. The remaining five athletes will travel to Abu Dhabi to compete on the world stage at the World BJJ Championships.

This initiative is a cornerstone of our youth development program, Pathway to Olympics: Brisbane 2032, designed to provide our athletes with international experience and expose them to world-class training methodologies that will shape their competitive futures.

We extend our biggest congratulations to the selected athletes, their families, and their home clubs. This tour is a testament to your collective hard work and dedication. We look forward to seeing you represent Australia with pride and passion!
